it lies to me that it needs me to close it and to update it, cuz when I do that, it is the same version

Hello,
Long story short, it isnt lying to you and it does need the update :)
What happens here is that the web update is served before the desktop update. When you are prompted for an update you are normally running the latest web version and not the latest desktop version so you must update (hence displaying 1.0.3 but the desktop needs to update to 1.0.3 still. If you expand the info for your app (im not sure on windows) youll see the desktop app has not updated yet.
