Can't record using guided mode.

Hey Kyle, using version 0.4.16 I'm still unable to use the Guided mode. Both Chromium and the floating window, Chromium opens first, and the floating window never detects Chromium. I tried several times to deinstall / reinstll from scratch, but no change, Guided mode can't be used..
Do you need/want a video, or should I do anything on my laptop or TM settings ?

Hey everyone, this issue has been resolved in the latest build. Thank you for the additional information so we could fix this issue. Please let me know if the issue persists after the update released 9/6

I face the same issue using another Win11 laptop. When starting the Guided mode, the Chromium instance opens (quickly) but it seems the floating recording window is not loaded yet and keep loading / waiting for the detection of the Chromium instance opening (already opened). Maybe delay the Chromium opening for a few seconds could help the guided builder window to detect the browser ?

Getting the same error but if I click on ok and start the guided access again it works.

Using it on Window 11 Pro

Hello Nolie, for your information, I faced the same issue some days ago when the Guided Method was released. To solve it, I had to uninstall TaskMagic, and reinstall it from scratch. Then after reinstalling it, I had to build a first workflow using the manual method. At the end : no more issue, I can now choose guided or manual method, and it works.

tried uninstalling and reinstalling, getting same error. Also now when I try the original recording, the chrome window do not appear

I'm getting this error "Error starting recording. Please close any open chrome browsers and try again. If the issue persists close and reopen the app"

Also when closing/reopening app I have to login every time
