If I'm not mistaken, this is already possible using the Cron job trigger option.

i.e. Cron expression for once a month on the 1st day of the month at 00:00 would be "0 0 1 * *"

You can now add custom schedules allowing you to perform monthly (or whatever frequency you want)

This website does a good job of helping you build a cron job if there is not an option available
